If you want a PS5, buy it today! Last chance to save big money on PlayStation 5
If you’re thinking of buying a PlayStation 5, then you’d better act fast, because Sony’s summer discounts are coming to an end. From now until midnight on August 10, the PlayStation 5 is available at a discount. The popular Sony console is available for just £404.99 from the PlayStation Direct website, or for less than £400 from retailers such as Very, Argos, AO and Amazon. With the PS5 deal coming to an end very soon, consider this your last chance warning to save big money on the price of the console.
News that the PS5 discounts are coming to an end was announced by Sony on Twitter: “Today is your last chance to grab £75 off PS5 consoles during the Summer Sale, I will not be responsible for you missing out.”
The PS5 features a ultra-high speed SSD, which provides faster loading times and smoother gameplay.
The console also supports visual features such as ray tracing, which results in more realistic lighting and shadows.
The highlight, however, is arguably the DualSense controller, which provides a much more immersive experience thanks to advanced haptics and adaptive trigger buttons.
While PS5 consoles will no longer be discounted after August 10, the good news is that the Sony Summer Sale will continue on the PlayStation Store.
If you’re looking for some games to play on your brand new PS5, then the PlayStation Store Summer Sale should be your first port of call.
As part of the PlayStation Store Summer Sale, hundreds of games are available at discounted prices until end of play on August 16.
This includes Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales for £24.99, Resident Evil Village for £17.49, and Gran Turismo 7 for £42.59.
Elsewhere, PlayStation users can pick up FIFA 23 for £14.99, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with Uncharted The Lost Legacy for £8.74, and Mortal Kombat 11 for £9.99.
Discounts are also available on games such as Dead Space, Demon’s Souls, Far Cry 6, Guardians of the Galaxy, Final Fantasy 7 and Crisis Core.
