IGN Army vs Stars: Sunny Singh Showcases his ‘Tekken-ical’ Prowess

IGN Army vs Stars Episode 2 is out now, and readers should go check it out. For those who do not know, IGN Army vs Stars is a series where members of IGN India take on various celebrities from the industry in the game of their choice. For this episode, we had Sunny Singh from Pyaar ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fight it out against the member of IGN Army in Tekken 7.

Tekken 7 is the latest instalment for the series and the franchise is insanely popular in the multiplayer fighting genre. Players must use all kinds of combos, grabs, dodges, and blocks strategically to take down their opponent across 2 rounds for one match. For this episode, IGN India set up various challenges to make things spicier. Check out the complete episode below:

Match 1: Normal Round

The first match was a normal round to warm things up for both players. Sunny Singh chose Bryan as his character for the first round and the IGN Army member put his bets on Heihachi. Sunny Singh put up a good fight with some flashy grabs, but Heihachi’s kicks were just too much to handle with the match ending in IGN Army’s favour with a score of 2-0.

Match 2: One Hand Only

Things started getting intense right from the second round as the Grandmaster asked the players to hold the controller with only one hand for this round, making the fight very tricky. For Match 2, Sunny Singh’s pick was Law whereas IGN Army’s member randomised his choice and landed up with Dragunov. Round 1 went in IGN Army’s favour with the member securing the win comfortably. Round 2 went in Sunny Singh’s favour with Law’s punches beating Dragunov. Round 3 was a surprise as Sunny Singh managed to win with no hits, using his mouth to manoeuvre his character. Match 2 ended in Sunny Singh’s favour with a score of 2-1.

Match 3: Swap Controllers

For the third and final match, the Grandmaster had a neat trick up his sleeves. He asked both players to choose a character for themselves and then asked them to swap controllers. Sunny Singh ended up with Jin and IGN Army’s member had to play with Josie. Both the rounds ended up in Sunny Singh’s favour with Josie not being able to keep up with Jin’s punches, the match ended with a score of 2-0.

During all the matches we also got some titbits from Sunny Singh and his history with gaming. Sunny Singh revealed that his gaming days started with playing at the arcade and the world changed for him when the PlayStation came out.
