IGN India Launches ‘India’s VFX Revolution’ Series Where We Dive Deeper into the World of Visual Effects
VFX is one of the most crucial elements of a film’s post-production process. Many won’t know but most of the movies, series, short films, and especially games require heavy duty visual effects to create the impact you want the medium to provide. India being one of the biggest markets for multimedia, has had to up their VFX games too. However, much of it has remained mostly unexplored and undocumented comprehensively.
Whatever we have seen about the VFX discussions has been limited to the western experts discuss some aspects of popular scenes from select movies from India. To fill these games and dig deeper, IGN India has decided to showcase India’s VFX Revolution all the fans in the country and across the globe.

The new interview series, India’s VFX Revolution will give the people an in-depth look into the innovation and excitement that VFX brings to the table across the country. Through the show, the viewers will have a chance to experience interactions with some of the biggest names in the industry. These people will elaborate on how the VFX community functions in the country while breaking down some of the most popular segments from the most popular mediums.
Each episode will focus on a new title across either films, TV shows, video games or short films. As part of highlighting this revolution, we will cover topics including what goes behind the creative process of VFX and so much more. We hope to educate the viewers about all the ins and outs of the VFX industry in India. This will help fans better understand the art and technology required to run the world of visual effects.

For now, the readers can keep an eye out for the first episode of the India’s VFX Revolution series. This episode will be released on March 12, 2023, at 10am on YouTube. This episode will deep dive into the VFX that went into crafting the critically acclaimed RRR. Pete Draper, the VFX Lead Supervisor for RRR, also known for his work in Pushpa and Bahubali, will be guiding us through the journey of learning the technical wizardry behind creating the film’s most breath-taking moments.
