The India Gaming Show (IGS) was held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from February 16 to February 18. The show returned to a physical formal, after it was conducted online for a few years. The fourth edition of the three-day show was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The theme for this year’s IGS was “Defining New Frontiers – The Future of Gaming in India.” The event had an exhibition, gaming expo, meet and greet, cosplay, product launches, product demonstrations, esports competitions and awards.
PlayStation India also had its own booth at IGS. It displayed the PlayStation 5, its new controllers, games, and other accessories. You can check out a behind-the-scenes video of the PlayStation booth posted by the company’s Twitter account:

First all-female Esports LAN tournament takes place at IGS
At IGS, Grace Esports won the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam 2022, the first-ever all-female Valorant LAN event in India. The tournament took place at the event on February 16 and 17 at the JetSynthesys Gaming Arena. JetSynthesys, the parent company of Skyesports, are the event sponsors of the IGS 2023.
“We were confident [of winning] but we were avoiding overconfidence and we obviously have a lot of people who support us to thank,” said Rose, the team captain of Grace Esports upon winning the event. “We also want to thank Kappa for having our back throughout the tournament.”
