India vs New Zealand 2nd Test, Day 1 Live: After a 80-run opening stand against New Zealand in Mumbai Test, Shubman Gill was dismissed by Ajaz Patel. Gill scored 44 runs and dominated the Kiwi bowlers with his periodical boundaries. Mayank Agarwal is still batting and he is now joined by Cheteshwar Pujara in the middle. Earlier, Kohli announced three changes in the Indian playing XI as the captain himself, Jayant Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj have replaced injured Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ishant Sharma. For New Zealand, Daryl Mitchell has replaced regular skipper Kane Williamson in the playing XI. Opener Tom Latham will lead the Blackcaps in the absence of Williamson. There was no play in the first session on Day 1 due to wet outfield but the day’s play has been extended till 5:30. The two-match series stands level at 0-0 after the first Test ended in a draw.
