Indus Battle Royale Dev SuperGaming Offers to Add RRR-Inspired Emote in Game, but They Need Some Help

SuperGaming, the developer behind the highly anticipated Battle Royale title Indus, has offered to add a new emote from the Oscar-winning Indian film, RRR. The developer shared details around this proposal, outlining that this emote will be inspired by dance steps for the iconic song Naatu Naatu.

In a video tweeted from the Indus account, two characters can be seen doing the dance move. The account stated that for the emote to be added to the game, RRR star Ram Charan, must like the tweet. This small requirement is quite possible, paving a way for RRR dance moves to enter Indus Battle Royale.

It is possible that SuperGaming may team up with other films and mediums for more custom emotes in the future. In the meantime, RRR is the obvious choice for such a collaboration to kick-start.

RRR has received a lot of praise by critics not only in India, but from around the world. The S.S. Rajamouli film even won the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards. This was a first for an Asian and Indian film.

The idea of adding the emote to Indus is also a clever marketing plan by SuperGaming. This move will attract the attention of Charan and his fans, who will be happy to see the Naatu Naatu dance move in the game.

The Pune-based studio recently shared the battle royale game’s first alpha footage, which revealed early gameplay, UI, and more. The game has also been gaining traction, as the company announced last month that it nearly hit the one million mark in pre-registrations.

The game has also received attention from outside India, as a startup fund owned by Japanese video game company Bandai Namco Entertainment invested in SuperGaming.
