Indus: Battle Royale Maker SuperGaming Partners With YouTube for Its Insiders Creators Program

India-based developers, SuperGaming’s latest feather in their cap, is their new partnership with YouTube. They have just revealed a new content-creator program, Indus Insiders, aimed at ‘empowering’ selected up and coming YouTubers. Check out all the details now around Indus Insiders, and other information like how and where to apply, and more below.

Indus Insiders Creator Program

SuperGaming is currently working on their most ambitious project- Indus Battle Royale, which is dubbed as the first “indo-futuristic” battle royale, made in India. As a part of their latest promotional gig, SuperGaming has now gotten into a partnership with YouTube to launch “Indus Insiders” content creators’ program. The news was announced via a press release, along with official announcements on Indus Game’s social media platforms.

Indus Insiders will encourage selected content creators on YouTube to make “fresh and new content around Indus”. SuperGaming will also help the creators grow their communities on YouTube, while teaching them “more about how to successfully grow their presence on YouTube through education workshops.” The program will additionally offer “meet-and-greets with leading creators” in addition to “operational support to manage their channels.”

Roby John, CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming said:

“After seeing an overwhelming response to our initial Indus Insiders announcement on social media, YouTube is our biggest platform to reach the right audiences and communities for our game. This made it the best choice for Indus, our content creators, and their following.”

How to Apply

The first criteria to apply for Indus Insiders Creator Program is to be a content creator on YouTube, with some quality content on your channel. The size of your channel will not matter as the FAQ states that SuperGaming is selecting “a fixed number of creators of different sizes”. Therefore, your subscription base is not a ticket to your guaranteed entry into the creators program. SuperGaming will however be assessing aspiring creators on the quality of their past content on their channel.

SuperGaming has elaborated that creators who become a part of the program will have a fixed target number of monthly videos that they would have to achieve. They add, “If we feel that the quality and quantity of the videos is not up to the mark, you might be replaced by another creator.”

As for the rewards, for now SuperGaming is providing non-monetory rewards like “invite-only events, priority on closed beta access, creator workshops”, and exclusive merchandise for creators and their community. Additionally, creators are free to monetize their content on Indus for whichever platforms they are on. With the launch of the game, monetisation opportunities like sponsorships and ads might be considered by the studio.

Where to Apply

Registrations are now open for the Indus Insiders Creator Program that you can now sign up for via their Google Form. For more details, or any other questions that you might have, check out Indus Insiders’ FAQ page.
