Info on Genshin Impact’s next big update, 2.6, is coming in a Friday stream

The return of Venti?

Genshin Impact‘s 2.6 update is coming up (and is expected to launch on March 30), and we’ll get more info on what to expect this Friday, March 18, at 4AM ET on Twitch.

Right now, it seems like a few things are for certain for Genshin Impact‘s 2.6 update:

• Kamisato Ayato will be the key focus, and will get their own banner.
• The Chasm will finally be playable (and will give us the Ruin Serpent boss).

But it also seems like Kamisato Ayaka will be returning in some fashion, as evidenced by the image in the announcement tweet. Even more curiously, repeat leaker Lumie has also hinted that Venti, a fan favorite that hasn’t had a re-run for a while, will be part of update 2.6; possibly with Ayaka (though others think Venti will be paired with Ayato out of the gate). There’s a lot of discussion around Kamisato Ayato alone, but the addition of Venti would make this one of the more lively updates in recent memory in terms of just the banners.

In any case The Chasm is basically the highlight of Genshin Impact‘s 2.6 update for me, as I just got Raiden Shogun and will be spending more than enough time experimenting with party builds with her.
