Insider Confirms Dead Island 2 Re-announcement At Gamescom August 23

Recently we saw some interesting information related to Dead Island 2. Amazon Listings for the game had been posted with a description and February 3, 2023 release date for the title. It was first assumed that the announcement for the title will be coming through The Game Awards, but through a new source we have learned that a potential re-announcement for the title has been slated for Gamescom on August 23, 2022.

The source of this leak is popular insider, Tom Henderson. Through his tweet, he has stated that Dead Island 2 re-announcement is scheduled for Opening Night Live at Gamescom on August 23, 2022. He further added, that unless the leak changes things, which he doubts, everything should be on track. He is also wishing for Dead Island 2 to take a jab at Goat Simulator 3, just as they did during the Summer Game Fest earlier this year.

Many fans are hoping and praying that Dead Island 2 takes a dig at Goat Simulator 3, some have also stated that the new trailer should show zombies eating a goat. One the other hand players are extremely excited for this highly anticipated title. The game created waves in the industry through the iconic trailer it released during E3 2014. Since then fans and players are just waiting to see how this game will turn out and hopefully all of their dreams will come true at Gamescom on August 23, 2022.

On the other hand some players are still having a hard time believing that this game is finally releasing. They have stated that until the game does not launch and in their hands, they won’t believe that Dead Island 2 has genuinely remerged from the dead. In the end players should know that this is a leak and does not come from an official source, so they should consume this information with a grain of salt.
