Intel launches 13th Gen Intel Core processors in India: New features for gamers, content creators and more – Times of India

Keeping in mind the increasing trend of gaming and content creation, Intel has launched the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processor family in India. The lineup includes the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K processor, which Intel claims is the world’s fastest desktop processor globally. It comes with 24 cores, 32 threads and a clock speed of up to 5.8GHz. The company says that the latest generation of the lineup consists of 22 processors.
The chipmaker says that it has over 125 partner system designs that offer experiences in both application performance and platform compatibility. The company showcased a range of systems and gaming rigs with 13th Gen processors at their core. The lineup included full tower desktops as well as small factor systems.
Intel 13th Gen Intel processor India availability
The 13th Gen Intel Core desktop “K” processors will be available in India starting October 21, the company announced at an event. The processors were launched globally in September this year.

“Intel is at the heart of gaming innovation, collaborating across the ecosystem to architect the most powerful experiences for gamers and creators. In the last decade, the overall gaming trend in India has grown tremendously. The response we have received till now has been phenomenal and we are extremely optimistic about its future,” said Santhosh Viswanathan, Managing Director, Intel India.
Intel 13th Gen Intel processors features
Intel says that customers can use the 13th Gen Intel Core processors with existing Intel 600 or new Intel 700 series motherboards. These motherboards offer support for the newest DDR5 memory as well as DDR4 memory. The lineup also allows users to customise their PCs as per their budget preferences.
Intel says that the newest lineup offers up to 15% better single-threaded performance and up to 41% better multi-threaded performance as compressed to the previous generation processors.

The 13th Gen Intel Core “K” processors offer an updated one-click overclocking feature, called Intel Speed Optimizer, Intel Adaptive Boost Technology, Thermal Velocity Boost to boost processor clock frequencies. Furthermore, there’s support for Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 3.0 ecosystem that provides a wide selection of overclocking modules and Intel Dynamic Memory Boost for memory overclocking (both DDR4 and DDR5).
Intel 700 Series motherboards
Alongside the 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, Intel also launched the Intel 700 Series chipset-based motherboards with backward compatibility. The motherboard gets eight additional PCIe Gen 4.0 alongside PCIe Gen 3.0 to provide a total of 28 total lanes off the chipset, increased USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20Gbps) ports for high-speed connectivity, and DMI Gen 4.0 for faster networking.
