iphone 13: Apple iPhone 13 series claimed to launch on September 13, pre-orders said to begin September 17 – Times of India

Rumour mill has been buzzing with alleged features and leaks about the iPhone 13 series. The 2021 iPhone lineup is expected to debut next month. A report by FrontPageTech now has a date as to when the iPhone 13 could get launched.
As per the report, the new iPhones may be launched on September 13 with pre-orders beginning September 17. The report goes on to state that the sale of the Apple iPhone 13 series may start September 24. FrontPageTech quotes the Chinese e-commerce website, IT Home as the source of the information which also shared alleged screenshots to back up their claim.
However, readers must know that IT Home in the past has posted fake screenshots. So, the information must be taken with a pinch of salt.
Apple iPhone 13 series expected specs
Apple, similar to 2020, is said to announce four phones this year. This may include iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 mini. Apple iPhone 13 series is expected to come with a smaller notch size than the iPhone 12 series.
There were rumours about the Cupertino-based company bringing an in-display fingerprint scanner with its 2020 iPhone lineup. But, a report recently rebutted the claim and suggested that it may skip in-camera fingerprint scanner for iPhone 13. It is now said to retain face recognition on the upcoming iPhones.
Apple iPhone 13 series is also rumoured to come with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The series is said to come with camera improvements. Apple may introduce a sensor-shift stabilisation feature for better auto-focus with the new iPhones.
