iPhone 15 leaks: iPhone 15 design could be similar to iPhone 5C

This should be a familiar concept to those following the Apple world for a while, as the MacBook Pro and old-gen iPhone came with a similar design language. For instance, the decade-old iPhone 5C came with a flat display and curved back. Apple will take a page out of its old playbook and likely make it more premium if this turns out accurate.

It won’t be the first time we will see Apple deciding to go back to an older design. The flat body style of the latest iPhone models resembles the iPhone 5/5S. And the curved frame design was universally loved starting with the iPhone 6 (most sold iPhone) and peaking with the iPhone 11.

The tipster also says that Apple might switch from stainless steel to titanium with the iPhone 15 series. We don’t expect the glass back is going anywhere since MagSafe won’t work with anything as well as it does with glass.

In theory, the super-premium titanium body on the upcoming iPhone should make them more durable than the stainless steel ones. After all, the most rugged Apple Watch Ultra has a titanium body. However, like always, you’d take this news with the traditional pinch of salt, as it’d be too hasty to take this too seriously.
