iPhone 15 Pro in may reportedly feature ultra-thin curved bezels – Times of India

Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to launch later this year in September and it’s sure to be one of the most anticipated launches of the year. It’s rumoured that the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup will feature an improved design, better camera, more powerful processor and much more.
The iPhone 15 series is expected to be an upgrade from the previous models in terms of both hardware and software. It is likely to come with a range of new features such as improved battery life, enhanced security measures and a better user experience. Here are some of the notable changes that may come to the Pro models.

iPhone 15: Thinner bezels, curved edges and more
According to a tweet by tipster ShrimpApplePro, one of the Pro models of the iPhone 15 series will feature thinner bezels with curved edges. He said, “Pro 15 will have thinner bezels with curve edges, display is still flat tho, only the bezels is the curve”.

Further, the tipster also added that all the iPhone 15 models including the Pro models will retain the same display sizes as its previous iteration iPhone 14 series.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature thinner bezels than their predecessors. While the thinner bezels will only come to high-end models, all four iPhone 15 models will also reportedly feature curved bezels for the first time.
iPhone 15: Expected changes
Earlier this month, Jeff Pu, an analyst from Haitong International Securities, in his research note outlined the Pro models to feature a titanium frame and solid-state volume and power buttons with haptic feedback from two extra Taptic Engines. Furthermore, the analyst anticipates the Pro models to come integrated with 8GB of RAM as compared to iPhone 14 Pro models that have 6GB of RAM.

The analyst believes that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will adopt the three-stacked sensor architecture for the main camera with a 48MP wide lens, which as of now, is exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, telephoto and LiDAR sensors will still remain exclusive to the Pro models.
Further, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will also ditch the lightning port for a USB C port, similar to what is expected for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
