iPhone 15 Pro models tipped to receive price hike, iPhone 15 to start at $799
iPhone 15 Pro series price will be hiked
- An analyst at Barclays has revealed the starting price of all four iPhone models launching later this year, MacRumors reported.
- According to Tim Long (Barclays analyst), the iPhone 15 Pro Max will see a price bump of $200 over the existing 14 Pro Max.
- This means the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a starting price of $1299 (roughly Rs 1,06,500).
- In comparison, the current iPhone 14 Pro Max launched in the US for $1099 (roughly Rs 90,100). In India, the iPhone was launched at Rs 139,000.
- Besides the iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra), the regular Pro version will also see a prime hike, according to the analyst.
- The smaller Pro version will be launched at $1099 (roughly Rs 90,100). In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro launched at $999.
- As for the standard models, the pricing of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will likely remain unchanged at $799 (roughly Rs 65,500) and $899 (roughly Rs 73,700), respectively.
The Pro models are quite more expensive than the outgoing models mainly due to the number of upgrades. Apple is said to offer a titanium chassis in the Pro models and there will be a new ‘Action’ button with revamped tasks. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will get a new periscope lens with 6x optical zoom support.
Since price hike details are coming from a reputed report, there are chances that these could be the final starting prices but do date these with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement from Apple.
