NEW DELHI: Apple recently launched its latest iPhone 13 series of smartphones. Soon after the launch rumours about the iPhone 14 series started doing rounds of the internet. Now, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is back with another edition of his Power On newsletter. In the latest edition Gruman talks about the upcoming iPhone 14.
Gurman mentions that people can expect new entry-level and Pro model iPhones with a complete redesign. He also adds that this year’s minor changes in the iPhones also indicate that Apple engineers are working on bigger displays that will take more time.
Recently, popular Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo also said that the upcoming iPhone 14 series will witness a redesign. Kuo mentioned that Apple is planning to completely remove the notch from its next year’s iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max models. He further added that the tech giant might incorporate a punch-hole display in Pro models of iPhone 14.
Talking about the iPhone 14 lineup, Gurman said that Apple is rumoured to ditch the iPhone mini and is said to focus on a new iPhone 14 Max. So, the next iPhone lineup is said to feature a regular iPhone, an iPhone Max and the two Pro models.
On the foldable iPhone front, Gurman said that the company is working on its own foldable smartphones but it will take some time. Kuo also corroborated the same and reported that Apple’s foldable iPhone is delayed till 2024. He further added that the delay in the launch of foldable iPhone will affect Apple’s shipments in 2022 and 2023.
