iphone: OnePlus wants its users to send this message to their iPhone friends – Times of India

Apple unveiled its 2021 iPhone lineup eralier this week. The all-new iPhone 13 series comprises iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. While all new iPhones come with some new features, there are also those like 120Hz refresh rate and Adaptive display that have been there on Android smartphones for sometime now. Little doubt then that Apple’s biggest rivals Samsung and OnePlus took potshots at Apple post the launch event.
Taking a dig at Apple, OnePlus’ US account tweeted, “I’ve had ________ for years.” Fill in the blank with a feature you have had for a while and send to your iOS friends.”

The tweet appears to hint at 120HZ refresh rate that OnePlus introduced in OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone launched in 2020. Of the 2021 series, OnePlus 9 Pro come with 120Hz display. OnePlus also introduced 128GB as base storage in OnePlus 9 Pro phone. The company launched its OnePlus 9 series in March this year. The company is now expected to launch OnePlus 9RT, the ‘T’ version of OnePlus 9R, its cheapest OnePlus 9 series phone.
As for iPhones, Apple iPhone 13 series will go on pre-orders starting September 17. The iPhones will go on sale the following Friday, September 24. In India, iPhone 13 series starts at Rs 69,900 and goes up all the way to Rs 179,900. This is the first time that new iPhones are going on pre-order in India in the first wave along with the US, UK and 30 other countries. Apple iPhone X was the first iPhone to launch in India on the same day as in the US. However, the phone did not go on pre-orders same time in India as in the US then.
