What’s interesting is that the report only mentions about Twitter Blue or Verified Blue costing more on iOS. Google also charges developers the same 30% of commission, which Twitter will have to pay.
One of the biggest claims Musk has made since buying Twitter is that he wants to make it an everything app and wants users to pay for almost everything. Musk and Twitter will have to pay the 30% to Apple. that will be a substantial amount to pay to Apple and Google. That’s why the threat of going to war with Apple.
