In terms of specs, it has a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The smartphone also comes with various camera features. Starting with daylight portaits, the iQOO 12 boasts a 3X telephoto portrait camera with a 70mm focal length periscope lens, advanced bokeh and beauty algorithms.

For close-up shots, you get a telephoto macro lens that’s ideal for daylight scenarios. 

For low-light photography, you can use the iQOO 12’s Astro Mode. We’ve shared camera samples below of the Astro Mode in action. 

iQOO 12 also comes with 100x zoom capabilities in case you want to capture something that’s located very far. Below we’ve shared camera samples using the 50x zoom feature but the phone is capable of 100x zoom as well. 

Based on our brief experience with the iQOO 12, and the camera samples that we’ve shared, the smartphone seems to offer promising photography capabilities. We’ll have a more detailed review of the iQOO 12’s camera performance in our full review of the device. 

iQOO 12 specifications

iQOO 12 will most likely come with the same set of specifications as the one available in China. 

• Display: iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also equipped with 2160Hz PWM Dimming, and boasts 3000 nits of peak brightness.
• RAM and storage: The smartphone comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
• Cameras: iQOO 12 houses a 50MP 1/1.3-inch primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom and 100x digital zoom. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera on the iQOO 12.
• Software: On the software front, it runs Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 custom skin on top.
• Battery, charging: iQOO 12 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
