Powering the phone is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with Mali-G57 GPU for graphics, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone runs on Android 13-based OceanOS custom skin out of the box.

Moving to optics, the iQOO Z7i has dual cameras on the back, with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
