Is Saquon Barkley playing on Monday night?
Barkley (ankle) was limited in practice all week, but it still seems likely he’ll suit up for the first time since Week 5.
WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
There have been rumblings that Devontae Booker would cut into Barkley’s workload even after the star RB returns, but considering Booker (hip) is also “questionable” after getting in a week of limited practices, it’s tough to know how this backfield will be split. We’re confident Barkley will still be lead ball-carrier and pass-catcher, which puts him in the RB2 range despite the tough matchup. As dominant as Tampa’s run defense is, it’s still frequently exploited by RBs through the air.
WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
If Barkley is out, Booker would once again see 15-plus touches and have flex value. If both backs are out, Gary Brightwell and Eli Penny would split carries. Obviously, these backs aren’t recommended plays, but if you’re counting on Barkley and he’s a surprise scratch, those are your desperation pivots.
