It’s Your Last Day To Play Rumbleverse

Rumbleverse will officially shut down in fewer than 24 hours. So it’s now or never to become the champ in Grapital City for developer Iron Galaxy’s wrestling battle royale game.

The official Rumbleverse Twitter account sent out a reminder this morning about the final countdown for the free-to-play game. The servers will go offline tomorrow, February 28, at 11 AM ET/8 AM PT.

Last month, Iron Galaxy announced Rumbleverse was closing up shop after only six months. Season 2 was the last for the game, with refunds being issued to players who spent money on the battle royale title. In addition, the current battle pass was granted to everyone.

Rumbleverse was unveiled at The Game Awards 2021 and then launched August 18, 2022. It’s available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Iron Galaxy originally hoped to power bomb the battle royale genre with the game.

There have been quite a few live-service games being shut down or soon discontinued in the past couple of months. Knockout City is going offline forever in June, for instance. Babylon’s Fall is being terminated tomorrow too, and Apex Legends Mobile will no longer be playable May 1.

There are more games getting the ax too, as the live-service game bubble might be ready to burst.
