Jared Leto Opens Up on Michael Keaton’s Baffling Role in the Upcoming Marvel Movie Morbius

While everyone is focused on the MCU, fans might want to shift their focus towards towards Sony as well with their upcoming Marvel project in the Jared Leto-starrer Morbius.

Following Sony’s massive success with Spider-Man: No Way Home, it seems like the company’s all-in on developing more Spidey-themed projects, which will start off with the release of the movie involving the character’s vampire villain.

Fans have a ton of questions surrounding the movie’s plot, and it’s place in the Marvel multiverse. For the longest of time, Morbius has gained a spot in the comic book movie fandom as one of the more intriguing projects.

However, the movie continues to get delayed and fans’ thirst for the answers to the burning questions continue to decrease. But, in the end, it seems like the Daniel Espinosa-directed film will finally arrive on April 1, 2022.

So far, the trailers have confused every Marvel comic book movie fan, thanks to the many references made by the characters in the movie.

The movie has referenced characters, plots and even suits from all three Spider-Man franchises lead by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland. Along with that, even Tom Hardy’s Venom has received a mention too.

The MCU Spidey gets the heaviest attention, after series villain Vulture, who was played by Michael Keaton, made an appearance in one of the trailers.

Keaton played the terrifying villain in Holland’s first go-around as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming. With confusion seeping in the minds of fans regarding the universe the movie is set in, Morbius actor Jared Leto recently talked about Vulture’s arrival in a recent Sony press release. As of right now, it seems like Morbius will have a multiverse jumping adventure in the upcoming movie, and in the end, it looks like fans might have to wait till the movie’s release to know what the multiverse has in store for them.
