For every cricketer, winning the ODI World Cup is the ultimate goal, and Jhulan highlighted the significance of the tournament, saying, “Like the Olympics is the ultimate event for an athlete, for a cricketer, it’s the ODI World Cup which comes after four years.”
Recalling the historic moment when Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit the winning six in the 2011 final, Jhulan reminisced about the excitement that swept across the nation. She conveyed her optimism that the Indian team would lift the coveted trophy once again, this time on November 19 in Ahmedabad.

Regardless of the outcomes, Jhulan emphasised the enduring status of the players as heroes, stating, “Winning and losing are part of the game. But they will be our heroes forever. So please support them and be with them.”
During the event, Jhulan interacted with school children who had the unique opportunity to pose with the prestigious World Cup. The presence of the coveted trophy added to the excitement surrounding the upcoming tournament.
