JioGamesCloud: How to Sign Up for the Reliance Jio Cloud Gaming Service and Start Gaming on Your Mobile or PC

Reliance Jio recently rolled out its in-house cloud gaming service called, JioGamesCloud in the Indian market in Beta form. This comes just months after the company reinforced its intention to bring AAA video games to mobiles, PC, and set-top boxes. Currently, the JioGamesCloud service is not available for general consumption. Instead, it is currently in the “Early Access Stage,” so that interested gamers can test and report any issues.

As reported previously, the service comes with about 50 games including some prominent titles such as Saints Row: The Third. Some other titles include Kingdom Come Deliverance, Shadow Tactics, The Uncertain, Flashback, Grid, and more. It is worth noting that the service is free right now and is not restricted to Reliance Jio users. However, you do need a phone number to sign up and get started with the service.

IGN India tried to sign in and get early access to the service on desktop and mobile using Reliance Jio, Vi India and Airtel phone numbers. For mobile gaming, JioGamesCloud also offers on-screen virtual controls. However, our limited testing of Saints Row: The Third showed considerably lag with the inability to customize the virtual on-screen control buttons. In the meantime, here is how interested gamers can sign up for JioGamesCloud, the cloud gaming service from Reliance Jio.

Reliance JioGamesCloud: Here is how to sign up and start gaming

Step 1: Visit the Reliance Jio cloud gaming website and click on the Get Started button on the top right corner

Step 2: Clicking on “Get Started” will navigate you down to the “Get Started” section on the same page. Here you can either click on the “Play Now” button in the “Web App” box on your computer or click on “Google Play Store” button to install the “JioGames: Play, Win, Stream” on your Android smartphone.

Step 3: Clicking on the “Play Now” button under the “Web App” box will take you to the JioGamingCloud website on your desktop or laptop. Here you need to enter your phone number to login.

Step 4: Enter your phone number and click on “Continue”. Next you need to enter the “OTP” that will arrive on your mobile. It generally takes 10-15 seconds for the OTP to arrive.

Step 5: Once you enter the OTP, you will finally get to the JioGamesCloud Home page. Here you can browse the entire game library available to play and start gaming. The process of entering the OTP and signing up is same on the Android app.
