Job Listing Seemingly Confirms Forza Horizon 6 Development

Forza Horizon is series that has taken over the racing games genre, every iteration to the series has been a massive success. Playground Games have created a fantastic franchise that has dwelled in every form of racing that exists. The latest game has also provided the players with a next-gen upgrade, which includes enhanced graphics and gameplay mechanics.

After the success of Forza Horizon 5, players have already started speculating the arrival of the next iteration to the series, Forza Horizon 6. Playground Games have not made any official announcement about the 6th instalment to the series, but a new job listing points towards the game already being in development.

The job listing has been spotted by popular Twitter user, Idle Sloth. In his post, he mentions a job listing that points towards the game already being in development and the developers are looking for a new Level Designer at the company. The job listing clearly states that the Level Designer is being hired to work on their next AAA title for Forza Horizon which can only mean one thing, Forza Horizon 6. Playground Games is looking for a Level Designer to join our Forza Horizon team. As a member of the design team on a AAA title, you’ll take responsibility for large sections of the game’s level design, as well as mentoring and leading junior teammates.

You will be a part of the level design team on our next AAA title, responsible for creating fun, playable gameplay experiences. During pre-production you will work closely with environment artists to create and iterate whitebox environments which prove core gameplay concepts.

Subsequently you will use 3DS Max and proprietary tools to mark up these environments with detailed gameplay information, and tune this gameplay into a high-quality console experience.

This comes as exciting news for the players that have been waiting for a new Forza Horizon game.
