John Wick Can Defeat Dom Torreto and Transporter Series’ Frank Martin, Claims Director Chad Stahelski

John Wick can easily defeat Dom Toretto and Frank Martin, at least that’s what the franchise director Chad Stahelski feels. Fast X director Louis Leterrier also agreed with Stahelski’s claim. Dom Toretto is the lead hero of the Fast franchise and is played by Vin Diesel. Frank Martin, on the other hand, is from the Transporter series and was portrayed by Jason Statham.

Collider recently held a panel called Directors on Directing during San Diego Comic-Con, where the director made the claim (via Screen Rant). He said, “John Wick would throw an axe in Dom Toretto and Frank Martin somewhere it would hurt. Yeah, it’s John Wick.” To this, Fast X director Louis Leterrier agreed.

It is no surprise, though, given the record of John Wick. As per the series’ lore, John Wick is a living legend, whose skills surpass just about any other deadly assassin shown in the films. He has bested just about everyone so far in four different films. He is a trained killer, skilled at close-range and mid-range combat. Anyone going face-to-face against John Wick is most likely to lose that battle.

Both Dom Toretto and Frank Martin are ruthless forces too, but none comes even close to the level of John Wick. Let’s face it, John Wick has 439 confirmed kills just on screen. These are eliminations Wick has dealt to get his freedom from The Table and to take revenge for his killed dog. One can only imagine how many people Wick has killed before his retirement. John Wick 1’s primary antagonist was not kidding when he said that John isn’t even Baba Yaga, he’s the guy you sent to kill the boogeyman.

Hopefully, none of the fan-favourites from other franchises do anything to be on the wrong side of Wick. From what the films have taught us, there’s only one outcome when you face him.
