Cristiano Ronaldo might be upset when he learns Jude Bellingham’s answer to the age-old debate over whether the Portuguese is better than his iconic rival Lionel Messi. Manchester United could make Ronaldo and Bellingham team-mates as they reportedly lead the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund starlet.
Bellingham is one of the hottest properties in European football having broken into the Birmingham City team aged 16.
He then completed a £25million transfer to Dortmund in 2020 and has become an important player for the Bundesliga club.
The England international only turned 18 in June but has already been linked with another big-money transfer.
A return to English football has been mooted, with United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea all linked with a stunning move during the summer transfer window.

Ronaldo re-joined United on transfer deadline day after 12 years away. The former Real Madrid star decided to leave Juventus, prompting United to steal ahead of Man City to bring the player back to the club.
His return to English football sparked a heated debate between pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher over whether Ronaldo is better than Messi.
The pair clashed on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, with United icon Neville insisting that Ronaldo scores a wider variety of goals.
“I just feel with the international goals records, the Champions Leagues and the variety of goals that he’s scored, it takes me to think that he is the greatest football player of all time,” Neville said during a segment of the argument.
Carragher responded: “No one is not a huge fan of Ronaldo or Messi. Ronaldo is not the greatest player of all time.
“It doesn’t matter how a ball goes in the net… Messi’s got a better goal record than Ronaldo. He’s also a playmaker, Messi can run a game – Ronaldo can’t.”
