Jujutsu Kaisen: Sukuna Returns in His Frightening Original Form

Jujutsu Kaisen is an extremely popular manga that reached new heights of fame when it was turned into an anime series in 2020. Readers and watchers are lovestruck with the new Curse Energy power system, as well as the new character designs and animation style. Unfortunately, fans were recently told that the manga will be going on a three-month hiatus after Chapter 221 of the manga. However, they can look forward to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 which is scheduled to arrive on July 6, 2023.

Speaking about Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga, the latest chapter reveals some exciting details about one of the fan-favourite characters from the series, Sukuna. We all know that Sukuna was revered as the King of Curses and was second to no one in his time. However, recently, we have only been able to see him in action when other characters are possessed by him.

Only through flashbacks we have been able to catch glimpses of the character in his original form, looking as intimidating as ever, always. Luckily for the readers, one such flashback as appeared in Chapter 219 of Jujutsu Kaisen. This flashback comes to us thanks to one of Sukuna’s allies, Yorozu.

In the flashback, we see Sukuna looking stronger than ever, with his defined four arms and slick attitude. Moreover, the scary factor comes in thanks to his face, with four eyes and a half curse face. His attitude towards the other characters and the world is what caught most readers’ attention, as the sheer indifference towards others and the feeling of superiority was second to none.

Now, readers only have two more chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen manga left until is goes back on a hiatus. However, after reading the latest issue, many fans are now craving to see what kind of strength Sukuna wielded when he was in his original form, hopefully we get a glimpse of that in the near future.
