Keanu Reeves Is the New Batman Alongside Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart in DC League of Super-Pets
“I am the Batman.”
No, this is not Robert Pattinson saying it in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, and no it’s not being said by the likes of Christian Bale, Kevin Conroy, Ben Affleck or even the returning Michael Keaton. Instead, this iconic dialogue is being said by everyone’s favorite actor, Keanu Reeves.
After portraying DC characters such as Constantine, Reeves will soon play the latest iteration of the popular comic book character in the upcoming animated movie, DC League of Super-Pets.
The announcement was made alongside a new trailer for the movie, which puts the focus on Reeves’ Batman and his dog in Ace the Bat Hound, who will be voiced in the upcoming film by Kevin Hart.
The trailer features a comedic take on the duo’s history of working alone after getting separated from their parents at a young age. Along with that, it also features an adorable lick from Ace as well.
There’s also new scenes for the dog Krypto and his owner Superman, who will be played by Dwayne Johnson and John Krasinski, respectively.
Ok, wait a minute……Keanu Reeves as an ironically comedic Batman is not only perfect, it now becomes the most important reason to watch this movie.
I’m not kidding, this is going to be fantastically hilarious, lol https://t.co/oeeBajvJQF

Moreover, we also get a glimpse of the Caped Crusader’s Batmobile, and a hilarious joke on Morgan Freeman as well.
DC League of Super-Pets will focus on the team of misfit animals, lead by Superman’s canine Krypto, who gain superpowers and plan on saving the Justice League from evil genius, Lex Luthor.
The movie releases on theatres around the world on May 20, 2022, and the animated movie should definitely be a cause for delights and laughter, thanks to the voice acting crew, which includes a ton of stellar names.
