Kia Sonet has been the key to the success of the South Korean brand in India. It quickly became Kia’s highest-selling car in India. The company is now planning to launch the Kia Seltos X Line in India. The Seltos X Line variant with major cosmetic upgrades.

Kia Sonet X Line: What to Expect

The upcoming Kia Sonet X Line will have a new paint theme, exterior features, technology, and powertrain options. To start with, the X Line model will be featuring a graphite-black colour for a dark exterior theme and another matte finish variant. The company could provide slightly different front grilles with matte inclusion matching the new exterior theme. 

Kia Seltos X Line

Following the traits from Seltos X Line, the upcoming Sonet X Line could also sport sun orange inserts to the side claddings, skid plates at the front and back, fog lights, and into the alloy wheels. The company would go with the current chrome bar connecting the tail lights but with an X Line branding. 

Inside, Kia Sonet X Line is said to inherit the cockpit from its predecessor’s GT trim including LED ambient lights, Bose sound system, and honeycomb pattern leatherette upholstery. The infotainment system is likely to include a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and UVO-connected car tech. It could sport an electric sunroof, wireless charging dock, air purifier, etc.

Kia Sonet X Line is anticipated to be powered by both petrol and diesel engines. The DCT petrol motor will produce 118 bhp and a peak torque of 172Nm coupled with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The 1.5L CRDi diesel engine, on the other hand, will deliver a power of 114bhp and 250Nm torque with a 6-speed gearbox. 

While there is no timeline for the arrival of the new Kia Sonet X Line, it is likely to officialize by next month. We will be back with more information for you soon.
