Krafton reveals its first virtual human – Times of India
South Korean gaming company, Krafton has unveiled the first images of ANA, its first virtual human. ANA is powered by hyperrealism, rigging and deep learning technologies. According to the company, the virtual human is designed to engage a global audience and help establish Krafton’s Web 3.0 ecosystem.
ANA is the company’s first virtual human introduced by Krafton and the company announced its plans to release a virtual human in February through a technical demonstration.
ANA was developed through the hyperrealism production technology of Unreal Engine and ANA proudly displays a hyper-realistic appearance that makes it more like a real human.
The virtual human offers human-like features such as baby hairs and fluff on the skin. The company claims that ANA truly looks unlike any other virtual human that currently exists through other technologies.
The face rigging technology expresses the movement of the pupil, fine facial muscles and wrinkles and enables the natural joint movement across the entire body. Additionally, deep learning technologies, such as advanced voice synthesis has helped create an artificial intelligent voice for ANA so she can act and sing just like a real human.
