Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool fee set, Man Utd’s £100m double deal, Arsenal medical

The Premier League transfer window is already in full swing with several clubs keen to do their business early as the players return for pre-season and teams prepare to fly across the world for their lucrative pre-season tours. Manchester United are proving to be one of the most active teams in the window as they attempt to wrap up two further deals for Erik ten Hag, having already completed the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea. But Arsenal, Liverpool and the Blues are going about their own business too.

While the Red Devils look to try and thrash out agreements for a new goalkeeper and central striker, Chelsea are hoping to spend some of the £200million raised from player sales, including allowing Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic and Mount all to join their top-four rivals.

But Mauricio Pochettino will be looking forward to bringing in his own players after starting work at the club’s training base in Cobham, and few would be surprised if the west London club did not go on a spending spree of their own. Similarly, Arsenal are about to confirm the arrivals of two new signings with medicals set to be completed this week for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

However, Liverpool could be leaving the biggest transfer until last after being linked with a British transfer record deal, with Jurgen Klopp desperate to bridge the gap to treble winners Manchester City. Join Express Sport for LIVE updates from the transfer window by scrolling down.
