It is the company’s first-ever 5G offering in the country, thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset powering it. The company is promising security patch updates for the Lava Agni 5G for two years but there’s no mention of Android version updates. The handset has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a rectangular layout to house quad-cameras, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Lava Agni 5G price in India is Rs 19,999 for the single 8GB + 128GB model. The phone is now available through the Lava e-store, Amazon and Flipkart. The company says that it will soon be available through offline stores across the country. The handset is currently available at Rs 17,999 on Amazon.

Lava Agni as said is the company’s first 5G phone in India. It is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone sports a large 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2460 × 1080 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout and narrow bezels. There is a quad-camera setup on the back, led by a 64MP primary camera with an LED flash, which is accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.

The Lava Agni runs on Android 11 OS with a near-stock UI custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. There is a 5000mAh battery and it supports 30W fast charging.
