Leaked Google Pixel Fold renders show Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4-like design
The renders and video show the Pixel foldable will have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4-like design, with an outer screen and a larger inner display. The phone can be seen in White colour with a metal frame.
Google Pixel Fold design
The Google Pixel Fold looks like a typical Pixel phone with a large form factor. There is an outer display with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout and narrow bezels. The top portion houses the secondary mic and speaker grille. While at the bottom, you can see the USB Type-C port, another speaker grill, SIM tray section, and primary microphone. There are two other cutouts as well. The inner screen has narrow bezels and a tiny cutout for the selfie shooter.
Moving to the back, you see a Pixel 7 series-like vertical strap, where triple camera sensors are present in the black over-shaped rings and dual LED flash. Interestingly, we also see tiny cutouts on the back, probably to isolate ambient noise while recording videos. There is a ‘Google’ logo on the back panel. The volume rocker and power button (with a fingerprint sensor embedded) are on the right edge.
Google Pixel Fold specifications
Google Pixel Fold is said to measure roughly 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm (8.3mm including the rear camera bump when unfolded). The foldable is tipped to be powered by Google’s in-house Tensor G2 chipset with the Mali-G710 graphics processor. The flagship is expected to sport a 5.79-inch cover display with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and a large 7.69-inch inner screen with another punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, 1840×2208 pixels resolution, 1200nits peak brightness and an average brightness of 800nits.
The Google Pixel Fold will feature triple rear cameras, with a Sony IMX787 sensor, an IMX386 ultra-wide lens, and an S5K3J1 telephoto lens. As for the selfie shooters, there is a Sony IMX355 sensor on the inner screen, while the outer display will get an S5K3J1 telephoto selfie.
