Lenovo Launches Its Latest Legion Pro Gaming Laptops With Intel 13th Gen, AMD Ryzen 7000 Processors and RTX 40 GPUs in India

The Lenovo Legion Pro series has launched its refreshed models for Pro 7, Pro 7i, Pro 5 and Pro 5i in India today. First announced at the CES 2023, Lenovo expanded its Legion lineup with Intel 13th Gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 series mobile processors. These latest laptops now feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs to go with it.

Features AI-tuned Internals

Lenovo claims to primarily cater to “competitive gamers who value esports and look for an edge to win” with the latest models of the Legion Pro 7i, Legion Pro 7, Legion Pro 5i, and Legion Pro 5. These are all 16-inch laptops that feature the Lenovo Artificial Intelligence (LA) family of chips. This powers the Lenovo AI Engine+, which apparently takes performance load off the CPUs and GPUs, increasing their processing power manifold.

Performance and display

The laptops are powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processors or AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The graphics card featured is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, powered by the latest Ada Lovelace architecture. It helps produce “crisp visuals” on the 16:10 Lenovo PureSight Gaming Display panel with up to 240Hz variable refresh rate.

Cooling System

These Lenovo Legion Pro laptops feature the Legion ColdFront 5.0 for its thermal solution. Their cooling capacity can be made even more efficient by fine-tuning the Lenovo Artificial Intelligence chips through Lenovo Vantage, for a maximum of 235 W of TDP.

Caters to competitive gamers

Immersive gaming is further guaranteed with 3D audio by Nahimic, which is an audio software by SteelSeries. And in a style tailor-made for gamers, the laptops feature the Legion TrueStrike keyboard backlit by Legion Spectrum Environmental RGB customizable lighting.

Price and availability

These latest Lenovo Legion Pro laptops are now available in the Indian market from a starting price of INR 1,72,990. However, the Lenovo store currently features only variants of the Legion Pro 5, Legion Pro 5i and Legion Pro 7i only. Check out the prices here.
