Lenovo Legion Go: Specifications, Pricing and Other Details of the Hand-Held Gaming Device Out

The handheld gaming console market has been growing steadily since the arrival of hardware such as the Steam Deck, ROG Ally and Ayaneo consoles. However, talks about a new competitor entering the scene have been on for weeks now and we finally have some more details for this upcoming device. This latest information comes just weeks after a report shared features such as the 8-inch display, detachable controllers, and more. Lenovo Legion Go Specifications

According to a report from WindowsReport, Lenovo Legion Go will feature an 8.8-inch display with QHD+ resolution (2560×1440 pixels), 144Hz refresh rate and 10-point touchscreen capabilities. As per the source, the information comes from a leaked Lenovo document.

Under the hood the Lenovo Legion Go will sport the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU with AMD RDNA Graphics along with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 7500MT/s. The device will also feature PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2242 SSD storage with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB options. The device will be powered by a 2-cell 49.2WHr Battery with 900mAh capacity along with a “Super Rapid Charge Controller”. Lenovo will bundle a 65W USB Type-C charger with an output of 20V DC with Legion Go. It will run Windows 11 out of the box with a complimentary 3-month membership of Xbox Game Pass.

The device will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port with support for USB 4.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 protocols and a microSD card reader on the top. The bottom will have another USB Type-C port with support for USB 4.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 protocols.

As per the report, Lenovo will also bundle some accessories with the hand-held device including Legion Glasses, AR-based glasses designed to work with Legion Go’s detachable controllers. These glasses feature Micro OLED display panels with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels per eye. The glasses also come with built-in speakers and other accessories. The second accessory is the Lenovo Legion E510 wired gaming earbuds with RGB lighting. They feature 10mm armature drivers with 7.1 surround sound coverage through the USB Type-C cable.

Pricing and Availability

Lenovo Legion Go will reportedly be unveiled on September 1 at the popular consumer electronics event, IFA 2023 in Berlin. Furthermore, it seems the Legion Go will be priced at $799 or 799 Euros, which converts to over INR 66,000. The Lenovo Legion Glasses are expected to be priced at $499 or 499 Euros, which converts to over INR 41,000.

The Lenovo Legion E510 gaming earbuds with RGB are set to be priced at $49 or 49 Euros, which converts to over INR 4,000. Lastly, the Lenovo Legion Go along with the AR Glasses and earbuds is expected to hit the stores in October 2023.

We are not sure if and when the Lenovo Legion Go will make it to India along with the accessories. However, if it does, it is likely to be priced around INR 80,000 considering the import taxes with AR glasses around INR 50-55,000 range, and earphones could be around INR 4,500 or 5,000.
