OPPO phones getting ColorOS 13 update this month

The Chinese smartphone giant announced that starting November 9th, ColorOS 13 beta version update will be available on the Reno6 Pro 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and F19 Pro+ smartphones, while the OPPO A74 5G device will get it from November 18th.

The update is already rolling out for OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G, Reno8 5G, F21 Pro 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, Reno7 5G, Reno6 5G, F21 Pro, K10 5G, K10, A96, and A76 handsets.

“ColorOS 13 Beta Version — based on Android 13 — continues to be available on more OPPO devices in India,” the company said.

ColorOS 13 Official Version update will be available on Reno8 Pro 5G from November 8th, while the Reno8 5G and K10 5G smartphones will get the update on November 18th.

This update cycle will allow more OPPO users to experience ColorOS’ highly customisable user interface (UI) and features that comprise the brand new Aquamorphic design, Dynamic Computing Engine, Eco-Friendly Always-On Display, and other enhanced security features.

ColorOS 13 includes new features for smart multi-device connection to enhance productivity with intelligent experiences.

OPPO has introduced an aqua-themed design for ColorOS 13 to create a fluid, vibrant, and inclusive UI. ColorOS 13 features a new theme palette inspired by the changing colour of light between sunrise and sunset at sea level, while the new system font improves the readability of system text in any language.

ColorOS 13 marks the debut of the Dynamic Computing Engine, developed in-house by OPPO to deliver a smoother experience with all-around improvements to the user. The engine brings two major improvements to ColorOS 13: increased battery life and the ability to keep more apps open in the background.

Multi-screen connect supports seamless connectivity between smartphone and OPPO Pad Air and between smartphone and PC, boosting productivity and convenience through File Transfer that supports more file formats without hardware limitations.

OPPO’s Meeting Assistant can automatically prioritise wireless data packages to provide a more stable connection during online meetings. It also simplifies banner notifications to minimise distractions while allowing users to add an OPPO Notes shortcut that helps to take meeting minutes with Notes in a small pop-up window.
