Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp accepts Divock Origi will receive ‘proper transfer offer’

Jurgen Klopp heaped praise upon his side after a pulsating 3-2 win over AC Milan on a memorable night at Anfield – with special mention given to Divock Origi for his involvement as the manager admitted he will recieve a proper transfer offer for the Belgian.

The Reds prevailed victorious after they came back from 2-1 down at half-time, in a game which should really have been put to bed by the interval following a dominating first half performance.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s deflected effort put the Reds 1-0 up before a contentious penalty was missed by Mohamed Salah.

Ante Rebic then equalised before Brahim Diaz scored moments after to send the Italians into the interval with a very much undeserved lead.

However, true to how Liverpool have played in the past, Salah equalised before a Jordan Henderson stunner won it.

And Klopp heaped praise upon his striker Origi for his efforts on a famous night at Anfield having not started a game for ten months.

“He played a super game, he had cramps,” Klopp said after the game.

“People forget how good he is, it’s just it’s difficult to get in this team.

“So in the summer transfer window, there will become a proper offer – but obviously people don’t watch football enough.

“Divock is an incredible striker and did really well. Yeah boss, spectacular, a European night at Anfield, I love it!”
