Lockwood Publishing Opens New Office in Cambridge and Expands Lisbon Studio

Leading British metaverse games developer and publisher Lockwood Publishing, developers and creators of mobile metaverse Avakin Life, has announced the opening of a new office in Cambridge.

The move adds Cambridge to its growing roster of development, publishing and operational hubs, joining Nottingham, Newcastle, Lisbon, Vilnius and Ho Chi Minh City. With around 200 people now employed across its locations, Lockwood is well set to meet shifting market trends and global recruitment challenges as the company enhances its capabilities for current and future projects.

As well as staff in hub locations, over the last two years Lockwood has attracted remote-working talent from Germany, Spain, Ireland, France, Finland and Netherlands.

In addition, Lockwood’s Lisbon studio – currently home to 40 staff – is expanding.
