‘Main kya karu?….’: Ashwin hilariously trolls Pujara | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Unlike the first three Tests of the series, the fourth and final Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad turned out to be a dull affair with both teams piling up huge scores.
Australia, who were trailing by 91 runs after India posted 571 in response to visitors’ 480, produced a solid batting performance to ensure a first draw of the series.
When it became certain that the result in the match was highly unlikely, India skipper Rohit Sharma brought the part time spinners in Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara to reach the stage where a draw can be called.
Ravichandran Ashwin, who ended the series with highest tally of 25 wickets, took to Twitter to share an image of Pujara in which he was seen prepping up for his over and hilariously captioned an image ‘Main kya karu? Job chod du?.’

Pujara has been India’s batting mainstay for over a decade and bowled only the second over of his career.
India retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 after the final Test ended in a draw following defiant half-centuries from Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne.
Even before the players shook hands India knew they had qualified for the World Test Championship final after New Zealand edged out Sri Lanka by two wickets in the opening Test in Christchurch.
India, who make their second successive WTC final after losing the inaugural edition to New Zealand in 2021, will meet Australia in the title clash on June 7-11 at The Oval.
