But City have become the country’s leading superpower in the time since, with Pep Guardiola hoping to win a third title on the trot.

So Casemiro, as a serial winner with experience of playing in the biggest matches in the planet, is likely required.
Yes, it’s been a slow start from the 30-year-old.
But United have been easing him into action and his nouse and expertise could be key to them leaving the Etihad Stadium with all three points to his name.
Speaking when United signed Casemiro, Raphael Varane dubbed the former Real Madrid star a ‘warrior’. He said: “I know perfectly his quality. He can bring this balance to the team and his mentality.
“He’s a warrior, so I think he will really enjoy the English football.”

Casemiro, as a player who has started four Champions League finals throughout his career, is made for such an occasion.
Martinez and the veteran could bring the steel United need to ensure they boost their chances of winning the Premier League title.
Certainly, if they win, it will get fans dreaming.
