Man Utd latest with Sheikh Jassim ‘to look elsewhere’ after Ratcliffe twist

Manchester United remain in a state of flux as the takeover saga continues to drag on. Sheikh Jassim is widely considered to be the frontrunner in the race to purchase the club. However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe remains in the mix as well following the 70-year-old’s failure to purchase Chelsea last year.

It was then believed clarity would be provided before the end of last season.

However, that hasn’t happened with the saga rumbling on while the Glazers continue to keep fans, staff and others associated with the club all in the dark.

Sheikh Jassim has made five bids for United, with his last offer coming over a month ago, while Ratcliffe is believed to have tabled three offers.
