Marvel Avengers: Black Widow-special Red Room Takeover event goes live – Times of India

The Black Widow-special Red Room Takeover event in Marvel Avengers is live and will run till May 31. The limited-time event was announced in March and is now available on all platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Stadia.The Red Room Takeover is the build up to how the previous two weeks in the game have shaped up for players, with them sleuthing the Rooskaya Protocols out. The Rooskaya Protocols is a program that has infiltrated AIM Synthoids.
What is Red Room Takeover
In the Red Room Takeover, a mysterious spy has infiltrated the HARM Room of the Avengers and turned it into a lethal trap. In the investigations that ensue, it is found that the Red Room was hacked into from the same IP address as the one that was found linked with the Rooskaya Protocols. Besides the trap, an encrypted message has also been sent by Rooskaya for the eyes of ‘Black Widow’ Natasha Romanoff only.
The challenges and rewards
This is a single player event and there are five different hacked HARM Rooms to test your skills as a spy. You must also decrypt the messages sent to the Black Widow. Upon completing the missions, players would be rewarded with in-game resources and a special-themed animated nameplate which can be used by any of the Heroes.
