Marvel’s Midnight Suns – How To Start The Deadpool DLC

Marvel’s Midnight Suns – How To Start The Deadpool DLC

Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ first DLC hero and missions are now available with the Deadpool The Good, The Bad, and The Undead DLC. Deadpool is the first of four announced DLC heroes coming to Midnight Suns. Like many of the other heroes available in the game, Deadpool will need to be recruited before he can join you on your crusade against Lillith. Here’s where and how you can access Deadpool in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

You need Deadpool’s buddy Spider-Man first

If you haven’t played through Marvel’s Midnight Suns or have started a new game plus run, you will need to play for a few hours before you can recruit Deadpool. Specifically, you need to beat the Spidermaaaans mission, recruit Spider-Man to the team, and wait for him to become comfortable enough with the rest of the Midnight Sun’s to remove his mask and reveal his secret identity. Once you have completed that mission Deadpool’s first mission will be available.

If you are picking up a save after this point, the game won’t notify you that the mission is available, but it will be. Head over to the Mission Table and navigate to New York. Here, you can find the A Man of Culture Deadpool story mission, which will start you down the path to unlock Deadpool and complete his series of missions. Deadpool is the first of four announced DLC packs coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns in 2023, with Venom, Morbius, and Storm all coming later, each with their own set of missions and challenges.

In GameSpot’s Marvel’s Midnight Suns review Jordan Ramée gave it an 8/10, writing, “The combat offers a rewardingly tactical experience, with a deckbuilding card system ensuring that randomness challenges the player, not frustrates them. Plus, the mission variety and cast of diverse playable characters keep combat fresh across dozens of hours. But I most enjoyed the role-playing elements and giving The Hunter a chance to connect with the members of the Midnight Suns and Avengers, forging friendships that resulted in powerful abilities I could take back to the combat side of the game.”
