Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been trending lately. Recently we learned that the game had appeared on PlayStation Store and players were able to add it on to their wishlist. The listing has since been taken down. Now, new details about the game have emerged and this one will have all the players excited.
Evan Filarca, a popular Twitter user known for releasing information on Marvel and DC, is the one that has spotted this news. Through his latest tweet, it has been understood that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could be releasing in Fall of 2023. Apparently, one of the Insomniac writers, Jamie Mayer (@heavymeta3000) has provided the release window for this title on her personal website.

The information can be seen on her website in the Screenwriting experience section. The first line of the section stated that she is “Currently on the writing team for the upcoming Spider-Man 2 (release fall 2023) and Wolverine games (release TBD) for Insomniac Games/Sony Interactive”. Although she is one of the writers for this project, players should take this information with a grain of salt. Since the pandemic, games are known to receive some kind of a delay. Quite recently, Hogwarts Legacy delayed its last gen console versions by a few months. So, while the game could release in Fall 2023, players should keep an open mind for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s release window, as it could arrive later.
