McGregor attempts ‘core bomb’ workout as Mayweather rumours continue

UFC legend Conor McGregor was seen attempting the risky ‘core bomb’ workout with a dumbell, as rumours continue to grow about a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. McGregor has not fought competitively since the summer of 2021.

In his last outing, the Irishman was defeated by UFC rival Dustin Poirier in devastating fashion, breaking his leg and being sidelined for a year. Over a year on though, it seems McGregor has regained strength after completing the gruelling ‘core bomb’ in the gym.

‘The Notorious’ shared a clip of the workout to his 46 million followers on Instagram, simply captioning it ‘core bomb’. The workout includes McGregor being hung in a pull up position, whilst clutching a dumbbell between his feet before bringing his legs above his head.

The video comes as rumours continue to grow around McGregor potentially getting himself back in the boxing ring to fight Mayweather in a rematch. The pair initially met back in 2017, as the Irishman made his boxing debut, whilst the American fought in his last professional bout.
