MediaTek Dimensity 9200+: Expected details
The Weibo post shared by the leaker claims that the main ARM Cortex-X3 prime core will be clocked at 3.35GHz. To compare, the main core in Dimensity 9200 was clocked to 3.05GHz. Meanwhile, the three A715 performance cores will be clocked at 3.0GHz compared to 2.85GHz in Dimensity 9200. Also, the 4 A510 power-efficient CPU cores will be clocked at 2.0GHz compared to 1.8GHz on the older chipset. This setup is expected to offer an overall increase in CPU performance.
According to a report by FoneArena, the Immortalis-G715 GPU is also likely to get higher clock speeds. However, specific details about the same weren’t mentioned in the report.
During the launch of the Dimensity 9200, MediaTek promoted a 1.26 million AnTuTu score on the chipset. This score surpassed all current Android flagship phones. The tipster claims that the Dimensity 9200+ is expected to cross 1.3 million points and may even beat Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in performance.

Vivo’s spin-off brand iQoo is expected to launch the Neo8 Pro smartphone by the end of May or June. Rumours suggest that this smartphone might be the first phone to feature the upcoming Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Apart from this, the chipset is also likely to power an upcoming variant in the Asus ROG Phone 7 series and a Redmi smartphone. More details about the upcoming chipset are expected to arrive before its official launch.
