Meta brings new Reels tools to Instagram and Facebook: What they mean for users – Times of India

Meta has announced new Reels tools for Instagram and Facebook while also introducing an “Add Yours” sticker feature for Reels. The other tools such as cross-posting, insight and more were also announced for Reels on both Instagram and Facebook.
“Add Yours” sticker comes to Reels
The “Add Yours” sticker has been there on Instagram Stories for some time now and Meta says that it has been doing quite well. So, Meta wants to bring it to Reels to inspire more and more people to post reels. The feature will be available to users on both the platforms.
Crosspost Reels from Instagram to Facebook
Meta will now let users crosspost from Instagram to Facebook. However, users need to have an account on both the platforms.
Now make Reels out of your Facebook Stories
Alongside the two features, Meta is also introducing a new feature to create Reels from previously posted Facebook Stories. This feature has been present in Instagram for a while now.
Meta introduces Reels insights on Facebook
Now creators can view Reels insights in the Creator Studio. The insights will show metrics such as Reach, Minutes Viewed and Average Watch Time.
Reels Remix feature for Facebook
The Reels Remix feature that you might have seen on Instagram will now be available on Facebook. Alongside the side-by-side view users will now be able to show their clips after the original Reels.
Stars now open for every creator
Meta is also releasing Stars for every eligible creator on Facebook. So, users can now express their support for creators by sending them Stars.
