MG 4 EV hatchback features
Since the MG 4 EV hatchback is already official in the European market, we believe that the company could choose to go with the same design concept for India as well. The foundation for the MG 4 EV is based on the SAIC modular, an expandable platform, which includes the battery pack as a component. There are two variants for the battery with capacities – 51kWh and 64kWh.
The smaller 51kWh pack delivers 125kW output and the larger 64kWh pack goes up to 150kW power. Both variants generate 250Nm of peak torque. For full charging, the larger battery takes 9 hours and the smaller variant takes 7.5 hours with a provided 7kW fast charger. The WLTP claimed range is 452km and 350km for the larger and smaller pack respectively.

For features, MG 4 EV has a 10.25-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch driver info display, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, a rotary gear selector, and ADAS support. The exterior design features include LED swept-back headlights scheme, dual-tone alloy wheels, and all-black body cladding.
The pricing details of the MG 4 EV hatchback are uncertain as the company has not revealed if it will bring the electric car to India as CBU or CKD.
