Micromax to launch a new smartphone in India on July 30 – Times of India

Domestic smartphone brand Micromax is set to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of a new smartphone.
The company has confirmed that it is going to unveil a new smartphone on July 30 in the country.
The company has not revealed the name or the specs of the upcoming smartphone yet but we do expect the company to reveal details about it soon.
There have been reports about the company gearing up to launch a new budget smartphone.
Micromax IN 2C or Micromax IN 2B
Geekbench listings of both the Micromax IN 2C or Micromax IN 2B have been spotted online.
Rumours suggest that both the Micromax IN 2C and Micromax IN 2B will come powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC. It is likely to offer 4GB RAM and run on Android 11-based OS out of the box.
It remains to be seen if there are two different handsets with any differences in terms of specs or if there is only one handset with different names.
Likely price of upcoming Micromax phone in India
Since both the previously launched Micromax In series phones were budget offerings, we expect the same from the next device.
Micromax In Note 1 price increased
In May, earlier this year, Micromax had increased the price of one of the variants of its budget smartphone — Micromax In Note 1 — in India.
The price of the base variant of the Micromax In Note 1 that offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage has been revised to Rs 11,499. This model was launched at Rs 10,999, which means that the company has hiked the price by Rs 500.
